Safety & Cleanliness

Please note: As at 15 March 2020, the Australian Government implemented a universal precautionary self-isolation requirement on all international arrivals to Australia for 14 days.

As part of our ongoing commitment to the clients, residents, and patients we serve, Living Hope Disability Services will continue to monitor the status of COVID-19, including the information and directives from the Australian Government.

It goes without saying that our priority remains the wellbeing of our clients and their families.

For the most up to date information and advice on COVID-19 please visit the Department of Health website page at:…/novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov-hea… This page is updated daily and will provide you with the most recent information.

Further steps to prevent this is by implementing certain actions such as;

  • Knowing your symptoms. This includes; fever, cough, shortness of breath and sore throat. As a result, you must self isolate for 14 days. This also includes recent travel to mainland China, Iran, Italy, the Republic of Korea and other infected countries.
  • Wash your hands with soap for 20 seconds before rinsing it. This should be down before and after you eat, as well as after you use the toilet.
  • Coughing or sneezing whilst covering your mouth and must cough within your arm.
  • Avoid contact with those who have symptoms and avoid contact if you are experiencing any symptoms.
